Many thanks!

For those of you who have been blogging for any length of time know what a true blessing it can be. You meet people in cyberspace that never would have crossed your path otherwise. Such is the case of Chris from Burning the Candle at Both Ends. She has given me an "I Love Your Blog" award! For one thing...I was never really sure that anyone (other than family and select friends) would ever read this blog. It started out as my cancer journey diary...mainly so that my children would someday have a record of my thoughts, dreams and concerns during this particular trial of my life. Which brings me to Chris' blog. Who could resist the title..."Burning the Candle at Both Ends"!! Is this not what all of us do as life marches on? Her blog brings me much encouragement about my faith and my motherhood. I know that if we lived closer and could be with each other in the flesh...we would be close friends. For now, we just do it through monitors, electrical outlets and space. That's good enough for me!!! Please take a few minutes to visit. You will be blessed with her attitude about life. She has gorgeous children! Thank you Chris for this Award.....I'm honored that we can encourage each other!

I just read your post on my blog. I hope you are doing as well as can be expected with chemo and all. You are such an inspiration to my life and let me tell you I have gone to your blog many, many times this past year "searching" for inspiration. I, too wish we lived closer because I would love to thank you and give you a big hug.
As for your daughter's ear. I have an adult friend that is with our Catholic homeschool group and she had the same sort of symtoms I do and they ended up having to put a tube in the ear. So, if this antibiotic doesn't work. I will not take another and we'll get the problem corrected the right way. Tubes are a very simple procedure...
I have this weird "bubble" or "balloon" feeling in my head..kinda swishy in a way and I have lost 100% of the hearing in my right ear. I've never had anything like it and it's about to push me over the edge! hahaha I'm gonna have to get me one of those funnel things to put in my ear because I am tired of holding my hand up to it...it's hurting! hahaha Remember the older people that used those back in the old days? Well, I know why. IT WORKS!
I hope your daughter's ears get better and your therapy is a great success and not so hard on your body. I will keep you soooo close in my prayers as I feel like we are friends in Christ.
