Urrrggghhhhh!

I just can't find the right template/colors for my blog. Usually, I have a certain "mood" that helps me decide. Right now, I want to show that we are in the Spring/Easter season....but at the same time I want something that is easy on the eyes.

Does anyone know if there is a way to use a template that is not part of Blogger but will keep all my settings if I use it? The last time I tried to use an independent template......I lost all of my sidebar stuff and it took me HOURS to put it all back!

I know there are people out there that do blog designs, but, I'm not sure that it a good use of our financial resources at this time!

HELP!!!

When I changed my blog to the triple column template, I did a google search for tutorials on changing templates.

There are lots of tutorials on there.

I simply followed the steps to change the template in the html code area and then went to the layout tab and put all the things in the sidebars where I wanted them.

Hello...this is my first visit to your nice blog!
But booyyyyyyy do I relate to losing widgets...I just recently had a HUGE mishap in the template area! I was going to suggest cutestblogontheblock...but I see someone already has! So, I'll "second" that...and they currently have some very cute Eastery things.
Click free backgrounds when you get there...this adds decor to your blog, but doesn't involve messing with the template.
Visit my sites some time!
