Blogoversary Giveaway!!

This coming Saturday will be my ONE YEAR BLOGOVERSARY!! I was telling a blogging friend recently that when I started out, I wasn't sure what kind of blog it would be. Would it be a mommy blog, a Catholic blog, a political blog, or a cancer blog? As it turned out, I think it's been all of those things at different times. Most importantly, it has been a record for my kids about what our life has been like since my diagnosis. It's been a place where I could share all the things about being a Catholic mom with cancer who loves politics. It's been a place to share about the things in life that make me laugh and that make me cry.

In honor of this momentous occasion (at least for me), I wanted to have a Blogoversary Giveaway....one that would show my appreciation for all those readers who visit here and for those who truly have become my friends. Plus, I think these giveaways are fun!

One of my favorite blogging friends has a very special talent. Barbara at Praying for Grace makes some of the most beautiful rosaries I have ever seen. There was one that she made recently that caught my attention right away. Check out these photos and see if you agree:

You can read all of the information about this beautiful rosary here! I love the bronze center and crucifix!
If you or someone you know would like to receive this lovely rosary as my gift in honor of my one year of blogging.....please leave a comment on this post! Please make sure I have a way of contacting you! The winner will be chosen and announced at 5pm on Saturday, July 25th.
Good Luck!

I can't believe it's been a year already. I very much enjoy keeping up with you and your family via your blog.

That is a beautiful rosary, and am very fond of the Our Lady of Grace medal in the center....I wear a silver one just like it!

Congrats on the blogoversary! It is truly a beautiful rosary that if I won, would be saved for a certain babe about to be born!

Happy Blogoversary!
I would love to win this rosary, of course, but if not, it's okay. Barb does make the most beautiful rosaries and I know Mary loves her so much for making them.
I will pray a rosary for you today for your anniversary.
God bless you and yours. I have loved following you.

Wow, what a wonderful prize! I have enjoyed being a reader of your blog.

And re your comment on my blog about your son off to camp for his first time ever, relax. It will be a great time for him. No news is good news (trust me on this), and when he comes home, sort his laundry OUTSIDE to let the spiders escape. I'll pray that he has a wonderful and safe time, and that you aren't too worried about him!

Nancy, I wish you a very happy anniversary, and look forward to your second year of blogging!

The rosary is so beautiful. (However, don't add my name to the drawing - it's an issue of having too many as it is and still I search for more - although I do use them! Lack of discipline though :) ! )

I well remember when I found your site back in October, and then you my dear. I'd been doing searches and came across your post and photos of St. Augustine - of places which have spiritual significance for me. That area was my home for manymany years.

I'm so glad I did find you, too. You've become dear to me. And I've enjoyed popping in the 'com box' now ang again and becoming acquainted with your faithful friends, as well.

I'm a mom with grown rather than young children, and the make-up of my days is so different than yours. My point is this: I'd like you to know how helpful it has been to me to read about your days and concerns because there are many moms and dads of young children in my life. I find that I'm more in tune with how their days are because of you. For that, I'm thankful!

To Sarah. A great idea! I join you in praying the Rosary on Nancy's behalf.

God bless you, Nancy, and again, happy anniversary.

As I was reading this a thought came to my mind. There is a homeless man named Larry in our parish. He goes to mass daily and loves the Blessed Mother,I think he would treasure a beautiful rosary such as this so please keep him in mind.I often see him as I'm cleaning the church because he stays late after mass.

Happy anniversary. Isn't it funny how the blog decides what it will be about. I love the rosary in the picture.
