I hope your Spanx turns out better than mine. First time up my legs, the stuff ran all over the place. I was peeved! I bought two . . . the second one I wore twice before it went running, too. I know they back their stuff, but I just said, they can't make it right - ever. Anyway, I'm supposed to look for something to wear for next Friday (I have stuff in my closet I can make work, but I'll try and find something). I am depressed about it 'cos I know it's going to be a while to find anything in my size, what I like, and the price to fit. Ugh!
I can relate. Hugs,
I am probably one of the few women in the world that absolutely detests shopping for clothes...just the thought of doing it causes me anxiety. Oh if only we could all have the time and talent to sit a machine stitching and sewing our own loveliness together, LOL (I had to click your link to find out what spanx even WAS!)
Nancy, Do Not stress about this!!!! Are you contributing to society? Are you a loyal person? These are the qualities which count! Anyone who is just judging you by your weight is not someone who you would want to impress or be friends with anyway. If we women get depressed about this stuff, we waste valuable energy which could be spent in a much more productive and positive fashion! Unless one is so obese that it is harming one's health, then just relax and enjoy every single day for what it is, a wonderful gift! And yes, I too have a huge potbelly post multiple children and that's all just fine, it's a part of my history and I wouldn't change a thing. Now I gotta go and have lunch!
(((((((HUGS))))))))) from across the pond to make you feel better.
