Over the last several weeks, I've been dealing with some abdominal pain. I've not done much about it because it hasn't really gotten any worse. It is on the right, lower quadrant (RLQ). I think the appendix and lower intestine is in that area. I have no female organs....unless it's adhesions from my surgery in February.
Anyway, I spoke to the oncologist today. He said that since I already had a PET scan scheduled for December 7th....he thought it should be moved up so we can take a look at what's going on. They had an opening for Friday (THE 13TH!!!!!!) but I decided to go with Saturday the 14th at 9am. I don't know what the test will show....hopefully nothing, but please pray that I can handle whatever it shows and that I will not lose faith!
Thanks.

Praying, as always! Call me if you want to talk! HUGS!
Praying Nancy! BTW, I would have gone with the 13th, a day that is associated with Our Lady of Fatima.
Thank you Therese...I just may take you up on that phone call!
Esther, I know you are correct about the 13th (I was born on the 13th!), however, the only time they had on Friday was 7pm....we have soccer on Friday nights....so I went with Saturday. Either way, I'm trying to heed the message of my blog title "Be Not Afraid".....but I am.
Thanks so much for your prayers.
Praying Nancy!!
Saying prayers for you!
I was born on a 13th too :)
Praying! Sorry I have not emailed. We were in Jacksonville during our beach day. I will write soon and update you. Praying for you to not be afraid.
YOU WILL NOT LOSE FAITH!! No, never that, my dear friend. Be afraid, fine. Lose faith? Not a chance! I am going to pray the rosary specifically for you every day until you get results.
May Our Lord look with favour and kindness upon you; may you trust in His Mercy and care; may Our Lady give you good counsel and cover you with her loving mantle. Peace He gives to you, friend. This life is a wrestling match - hang on like Jacob for your blessing!
I wish you God's loving Aloha!
I'm praying for you Nancy. Please let us all know something as soon as you do. Try not to worry (I know it is hard). "For God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self control." 2 Tim. 1:7. "The LORD is my light and my salvation, of whom (in this case what) shall I be afraid" Psalm 27:1.
