Ok, I'm almost 45 years old! Ice cream and I have had a close relationship for most of those years (as opposed to the love/hate relationship that my scale and I have). I have attended many ice cream "socials". I've topped my ice cream with hot fudge, hot
carmel, marshmallows, bananas, M&M's, sprinkles, whip cream, crushed up cookies, and chocolate chips! I've even had gummy bears on top! But, I have one question....
WHY HAS NO ONE EVER TOLD ME ABOUT THIS ITEM???????
Have any of you ever had this over your ice cream? Am I the only one in the world who knew NOTHING about this wonderful stuff! Where in the heck have I been? I tried this for the first time on Saturday night.......I'm in love!

Nancy-it has been around for a LONG time! I remember using magic shell as a kid...I LOVE IT!!!
It's our favorite topping! Therese is right it's been around for a while! LOL Although it's best to give it a few minutes to get hard! LOL
My friend, Dawn (A Helping Hand blog) told me about an incident at her house involving her children eating up all dad's magic shell and returning the empty container to the shelf . . . . was he angry! SO, I couldn't get that crap outta my head and we made ourselves sick eating ice cream with two bottles of that stuff! I LOVE it!!
However, I wonder if there is a dangerous chemical that causes it to stay liquid when not cold. Strange. Kinda like Kentucky Fried Chicken in that there are eleven herbs and spices of some kind of crazy addictive spices in it. ;)
is that the stuff that goes hard when it hits the ice cream? I remember trying it before Steve and I were married.
I really like the caramel flavoured one.
You should try it over strawberry frut bars.. It is wonderful....less calories than ice cream..
