Friday Favorites

Since this is a new year, I wanted to start something new for my blog. I'm going to call it "Friday Favorites"! I'm really excited about this! Many times I come across things that I've wanted to share with others but I didn't know exactly how to go about it. Blogging is the perfect forum for this! So, every Friday, you will be treated to a few of my favorite things. Maybe they will become some of your favorite things too.

So...without further adieu.....here is my first batch of Friday Favorites!!!

• One of the reasons I can hardly wait for the Thanksgiving/Christmas season is my coffee flavorings! I love going to Starbucks right before Thanksgiving when they begin their seasonal specialty coffee drinks. My favorite is the Eggnog Lattes. But, at almost $4 every visit....I had to find an alternative. Sooooo, Coffee-Mate has begun making these great liquid flavorings. My two favorites are Pumpkin Spice and Eggnog. The best part about these products is that you can freeze them. During the holidays, I buy a couple of each of them and then I can have my favorite holiday flavors all through the year!


• Now, since we are only 20 days away from my next favorite thing....I thought I would share this with you in case you want to get caught up before January 21, 2009!!! My absolute favorite t.v. show is LOST!! If you have never watched an episode....you are really missing something. In 20 days, LOST begins Season 5 of 7 total (I think). Anyway, there are several good websites with great LOST information (including spoilers). If you visit my sidebar, you will find some of the best ones. Anyway, in case you were wondering what I will be doing on Wednesday nights at 9pm....wonder no more! Oh...and don't call me during that time either....I WON'T ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!


• I was recently introduced to the Catholic version of Netflix...called Pius Media. I must say, I'm very impressed with this operation and the service that we've received since we've joined. I encourage you to visit this site and consider making a change to a more wholesome and moral company than Netflix or Blockbuster. At first, their selections were rather limited, but, each month they are adding more and more movies and we have been very happy. There are several different membership levels which I think is great since not everyone has the same moving watching habits. Anyway...give them a try if you can.
