Prayers please!

I'm asking for your prayers for my little Olivia! She is having surgery tomorrow morning (Monday, the 22nd)! She's having her tonsils and adenoids removed...as well as having tubes placed in both ears. Her surgery is scheduled for 11am (EST).

Today, I took her shopping for Popsicles, jello, pudding and some ice cream. I let her pick out her favorite flavors! She's excited that she will get to camp out on the couch in the living room for a few days. I'm hoping that she does not have a bad reaction to the anesthesia and that we can keep her pain controlled. They say that the first two or three days are the worst.

If you have enough time, please sneak in a prayer for me too.....I'm so nervous that I could crawl out of my own skin. As much as I hate surgery, I wish I could do this for her so she wouldn't have to endure it. But...she's only four and I'm told that the younger they are...the easier it is.

Thanks!

I had that surgery (tonsils) at age five and my only memory is of ice cream and camping out on the sofa! She'll do fine.

Nancy,
I will cover you both with prayer today and tomorrow during the surgery. Don't worry, my niece had this surgery and all went well. I understand how nervous mothers get, though :) May God's peace be upon you.

OH I'm SO SORRY I MISSED THIS POST!
I will now ADD my prayers to those already offered...so that sweet Olivia will continue to recover so nicely!
(I never heard of voices changing after tonsils coming out...I can't recall my own doing that...I'll have to ask my mother, ha ha)
