27 Years ago today I lost my father. I was 17 at the time (he was 47...too young). To this day, every time I see an American Flag, I think of my wonderful dad.

As Father's Day approaches, and your dad is still living, please tell him how much you love him and how much you mean to him. Don't wait until it's too late.

Nancy, I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I'm always amazed that it doesn't matter how long the people we love are gone, the sadness we feel at living our lives without them makes it feel as if it were only yesterday. My prayers-

Nancy, I am sorry you lost your dear father soon soon. No matter how old one is when they lose a parent, it hurts. I am glad that in my family we say I love you all the time. That is one thing I do not regret after my father died. He was told often that we loved him.

I am sorry for your loss too. 47 is very young to die.

Praying for you Nancy as Fathers day approaches and for the soul of your father.

I know exactly how you feel! You will be in my prayers this week as Father's Day comes!
